Sweden's first marine-conservation area is neighbor to the Vann Spa Hotel and Conference Center, and the property was designed with environmental sustainability as a theme. The interior and exterior incorporates heartwood pine and local Bohusl?n granite, and mahogany panels are sourced from well-managed, certified forests. As a result, the 151-room, 5-suite hotel was awarded the Swedish Swan environmental label. Two pools afford a view of Gullmar Fjord; the Stora Tj?rnen pool is designed to ease tension and fatigue with its black bottom and dark-grey walls. Also available for guests are three types of saunas and a relaxation area. Treatments include massage, facials, nail services, makeup, and wraps.
